Yoann’s sailing career threw him in at the deep end as he began by taking charge of a 5,000 mile transatlantic crossing. From there he moved from strength to strength captaining yachts all across Northern and Western Europe. He spent ten years as a charter captain aboard S/Y OWL completing a number of high profile regattas across the Atlantic and Mediterranean. He now finds himself as an experienced and accomplished captain aboard SHAMLOR. Over 20 years and 100,000 miles of sailing experience mean that Yoann is capable of dealing with anything his charters throw at it him.

Job description
As Captain the overall running of the vessel is Yoann’s responsibility; this includes the navigation, safety and experience of all onboard. He ensures that SHAMLOR runs smoothly and efficiently whilst adhering to all the appropriate regulations.

From there he moved from strength to strength captaining yachts all across Northern and Western Europe. He spent ten years as a charter captain aboard S/Y OWL completing a number of high profile regattas across the Atlantic and Mediterranean. He now finds himself as an experienced and accomplished captain aboard SHAMLOR. Over 20 years and 100,000 miles of sailing experience mean that Yoann is capable of dealing with anything his charters throw at it him. Job description As Captain the overall running of the vessel is Yoann’s responsibility; this includes the navigation, safety and experience of all onboard. He ensures that SHAMLOR runs smoothly and efficiently whilst adhering to all the appropriate regulations.
