Captain – Apostolos Korakas

Captain Apostolos is a very capable and experienced Captain having worked on private and chartered large luxury yachts for 14+ years, travelling all over the
world. He has been on board luxury yachts since 2006 . Apostolos has graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Aspropyrgos in 1999 . He holds all the
certificates for marine Officers like: Life Saving and Fire Fighting Appliances, Ro/Ro Passenger and SSO security . He commenced his service at sea in 1996 as
Cadet Officer on board merchant ships, passenger and container vessels. In 2001 he paid his duties to the Greek Navy for 2,5 years as a Commander of a
minesweeper war ship. He offers an enthusiasm that blends well with the positive attitude of the entire crew. The Captain takes great pride in creating tailor-made yacht charter experiences for each charter. He works closely with the chartering party to ensure that all their needs are met.

Interests: He really enjoys sailing, waters ports, diving, fishing, spearfishing , studying new technology & innovations, and listening to music.

Chief Engineer – Themis Katsis

Themis is from Athens, Greece. He received his Bachelor of Engineering from the Athens Merchant Marine Academy, Department of Marine Engineering, in Athens. He worked as an Engineer on passenger ships for 4 years before moving on to the luxury yacht industry, and has huge experience with hydraulic systems, water makers, generators, engines of all types, pumps and compressors, Themis has served as Engineer for over 11 years on private and charter vessels up to 46m. He is a 4th year student studying Shipbuilding Technology Applications at the Technological Educational Institute (TEI) of Athens. Themis is more than qualified to keep M/Y My Toy in ship shape order for the 2021 summer cruising season.


Chef – Matthew Divanes
Nationality: Greek
Aged 35 – Speaks English, Greek
1st year with Captain Apostolos

Chef Matthew was born in 1985 in Athens Greece and completed his studies at Le Monde academy, and also specialized in meat cutting at the Athens School of Meat Professions. He cooks all kind of cuisines, his favorite ones are Japanese and French. He has been working as a Chef for the past 15 years, 5 of which he worked in yachts “Prince Abdulaziz”, “My Way” and now “My Toy”. At the same time, Thodoris participates in professional seminars of International Cuisine. Thodoris also likes free diving and fishing.

Chief Stewardess – Oksana
Nationality: Ukrainian
Aged 32 – Speaks English, Ukrainian, Italian
1st year with Captain Apostolos

Oksana was born in Odessa Ukraine in 1989. She attended Professional Silver service, holds all the necessary certificates of Life Saving – Fire Fighting Appliance, and is an experienced professional Chief Stewardess with over 5 years of experience onboard luxury yachts. She also has numerous years of experience as a waitress at high end restaurants. Oksana is an energetic, hard working person with excellent communication skills and will make sure that all guests are happy and comfortable on board. She enjoys travelling, cycling, and dance during her free time.

Yuliia Karayianova – Junior Stewardess
Nationality: Ukrainian
Aged 25 – Speaks English, Ukrainian
2nd year with Captain Apostolos

Yuliia was born in 1994 Ukraine, and holds Certificates of Life Saving – Fire Fighting appliances. She initiated her career in 2017 working is resorts and is a great asset to the team! She is a hard worker, dedicated and enjoys travelling at sea. During her spare time, Yulia enjoys going to the gym, cooking , swimming, dancing and reading books.

Bosun – Marios Gallinos
Nationality: Greek
Age 29 – Speaks English, Greek

Marios was born and raised in Greece, and holds Certificates for Life Saving & Fire Fighting Appliances, RoRo passengers ships and a Skipper’s and Free Diving diplomas. He has worked onboard sailing yachts since a young age, responsible for maintenance and other duties. He then worked as a sailor onboard motor yachts, thus joining My Toy as an excellent asset to the team. With his knowledge and experience, Marios aims to provide an enjoyable and friendly time on board MY TOY. In his free time, he enjoys sailing, water sports, driving fast cars and swimming.

Deck Hand – George Vougoukas
Nationatliy: Greek
Aged 27 – Speaks English, Greek
2nd year with Captain Apostolos

George was born in 1994 in Athens. His love for the sea started from his youth and keeps growing. George holds all the certificates regarding commercial yachting powerboat and water toys and has worked onboard smaller yachts and boats as a skipper. His enthusiasm and communication skills help him to develop strong relationships with people around him. In his free time he likes to play basketball, swimming, and boxing.

Deck Hand – Chrysa Avrampou
Nationality: Greek
Aged 24 – Speaks English, German, Greek
2nd year with Captain Apostolos

Chrysa was born in 2000 in Athens, Greece. She grew up around the sea and boats, and holds a strong passion! She decided to start her career in the yachting industry, and has been working onboard My Toy for the last two seasons as a stewardess and deckhand. Chrysa loves to travel in her free time.
