Captain Panos graduated from the Merchant Marine Academy of Athens in 2000 and holds a Captain Class A’ diploma. He worked onboard motor tankers for the first few years, gaining extensive knowledge at sea. Since 2004, Captain Panos has been onboard luxury yachts, and spent the last three years as Captain of a 60m yacht. This is his first season onboard ABILITY and looks forward to building a strong team, applying his passion and enthusiasm, and creating a memorable experience for his guests! Captain Panos primary focus is the safety of his guests and crew, and this combined with his commitment and seamanship skills, ensures a safe and enjoyable cruise for all. He is married with one child, and on his free time enjoys water sports and reading.

Chief Mate Marios Nikolaou
Nationality: Hellenic
DOB: 1973
Languages: English/Greek

Marios holds a Captain Class B’ diploma, having graduated from the Mercantile Marine Academy. He has been at sea since 1993, steadily building a strong experience and a firm background. His first 11 years were spent onboard large motor vessels and tankers, until he switched to the yachting industry in 2004, where he has remained since. Mario is a new asset to the team, and brings along with him positive traits such as excellent communication and organizational skills, flexibility, adaptability, and team spirit. His friendly nature and high sense of responsibility and safety awareness, ensures a safe cruise for all onboard, whilst the guests can enjoy a relaxing time.


Chief Engineer Dimitris Arapogiannis

Languages: English/Italian/Greek

Dimitris was born in Greece and holds the Chief Engineer Class A diploma from the Mercantile Marine Academy. His career started at an early age and has acquired almost 40 years of experience at sea! Dimitris has valuable knowledge and endless dedication. It is his first year onboard ABILITY, and is responsible for the safety on board whilst ensuring that all engineering projects are completed to the highest standards. He is always very eager to work and provide all his knowledge zealously. Even though his primary focus is engineering, Dimitris is always available and will assist with all deck activities, continuously striving for precision.

Chef Dimitris Giannopoulos
Nationality: Hellenic
DOB: 1988

Dimitris is a Head Chef, with 10+ years’ experience in high-end hotels and five-star restaurants. Resourceful and a passionate professional, Dimitris is committed to lead guest-focused kitchen operations, enforces strict health and hygiene standards, adapts the menu development & pricing, and optimizes the cooking process with attention to detail, speed and quality. This is his first year onboard ABILITY, and a true asset to the team! The gastronomic creations will surely impress and enthuse his guests onboard, and his culinary techniques exhibit flavors and tastes to savor a lifetime! Dimitris uses the highest quality and freshest ingredients, creating new recipes and tastes for his guests On his spare time, Dimitris loves sports and experimenting in the kitchen!


Chief Stewardess Zora Todorovska

Zora is an extremely motivated, hard-working and reliable individual. She is an asset to the team, as her positivity and excellent communication skills makes her a pleasure to be around! Zora joined ABILITY in 2018, and has climbed up the ladder with her hard work, dedication, and passion, from Stewardess to Chief Stewardess. Her attention to detail, hospitality, love for the sea and outgoing nature makes her an excellent asset to the team onboard. Zora works effectively and efficiently as part of a team, and looks forward to another busy and successful season! During her free time, she adores traveling!


Stewardess Katarina Vukovic

Languages: English/Basic Spanish/Serbian

Katarina is a young, active, and enthusiastic individual always striving to make the most of all opportunities that cross her path. Due to her dynamic nature, she sets high standards and constantly challenges herself to improve, strengthen, and broaden her knowledge and skills. Katarina loves to interact with people, always hospitable and with a smile. She offers top-notch service and housekeeping duties, and loves to work with a team. Born in Serbia, Katarina has completed her studies in Hotel Management and has been working at sea since 2015, and has just joined ABILITY. On her free time, she enjoys reading and swimming.
